Stopping by meadow on a dewy morning
Sun bolts reach for morning dew
Inviting drops to skies anew
While soil steeps deep in sinking mists
So creatures there can drink their due.
With joyful song life’s healing bliss
Wafts over as a loving kiss
Reminding now that nature mends
Herself and us though mostly missed.
While currents rise to dance with wind
Sea’s body home to whale and fin
We worry, prattle, heave and take
From oceans, soil, air, and lake.
When will we see our own mistake?
What will it take for us to wake
To nature’s bounty for our sakes
A healing world is ours to make
